Tuna Can Wood Designs is a one-man woodshop focused on bold, handcrafted pieces with a strong personality. Every design is created and routered by hand. No CNC, just real tools and real mistakes turned into something worth keeping.
Inspired by traditional tattoo art, humor, and a love for working with wood, each piece is built to stand out, not blend in. From custom signs to original designs, the goal is simple: make things that get a reaction.

A skilled and passionate photographer, I have embarked on a captivating visual journey
using vintage cameras and expired 120 film.
Whilst restoring my grandfather‘s cameras, I became enamored with the unique
capabilities of Kodak box brownies and bellows cameras.
After developing the negatives I then create large toned Cyanotypes, toned using the
byproducts whether it’s the left over coffee and
tea bags or any of the materials due to be thrown away and instead sustainably using
them again. Having recently done this with another project about the Chernobyl
Exclusion zone where it was not possible to return to the site to complete.
My dedication to the art of photography goes beyond technical prowess. It is a desire to
tell stories, to evoke emotions, and to create a visual symphony that resonates with
viewers on a profound level. These images invite contemplation, sparking curiosity and
introspect.

Art has been a healing tool for me as I feel the most relaxed and in-tune with myself when I'm either painting, printing, or crocheting. When I create my paintings and prints, I tend to draw inspiration from nature and usually use a vibrant color palette. With crocheting, I specialize in making keychains and plushies with a goal of creating more original clothing pieces. I also would like to combine my love for crocheting and painting in one-of-a-kind pieces.

My work is rooted in the time I spent incarcerated, where creativity became self-definition and a turning point. I work with discarded materials using them as a foundation for painting and collage. By turning what’s been cast away or considered “trash” into something intentional that holds respect.
The Desert Marigold is multidisciplinary in medium, focusing on secondhand materials. Sustainability is centered, using the creative process to transform existing materials into everyday, functional items. Environmentally driven, coastal items are integrated to create effortless jewelry that works with the beach life: collected mussels, shells and sea glass paired with freshwater pearls reclaimed from vintage jewelry. Textiles like heirloom quilts, lace tablecloths, and vintage towels are refashioned into practical, one of a kind pieces, carrying on the generational tradition of using what’s available. Marrying coastal texture with vintage americana, The Desert Marigold embodies the north coast as an artist.
